About our 3d Printed items
We are excited to offer 3d printed items to our customers.
We will offer a variety of 3d prints to choose from. Our 3d printed items will be offered on our whatnot shows in small batches.
As we test this out with our customers we may offer them here in our shopify store. In order to offer a larger variety and possibly meet the demand we may need more printers to do that. Right now we have 4 printers working around the clock to bring you this new collection.
So for the time being, we will 3d print items such as fidget clickers, straw buddies, paintable figurines, paintable parts for crafting and in the future we plan to offer 3d parts with some of our wood cut out kits.
We believe that expanding and innovating our offerings is important to our growth and serving our customers.
These 3d prints are being printed in our warehouse. We are not ordering items, we are printing them in house.
Printing items on 3d printers can take a number of hours to create, sometimes it can take days to print one design batch.
Due to this we will not be able to offer massive quantities. At this time we will not accept custom orders or printing after purchase.
We understand that not all of our customers like whatnot and prefer not to shop there. But at this time we are embracing whatnot and the selling platform it offers our customers.
3d Print Characteristics
Items 3d printed at times can have imperfections, and sometimes rough top layers due to how the design is printed.
I (Amber) have selected a wide variety of items to offer. Sourcing designs from many designers so each 3d printed item may vary in the outcome.
I have also been working on converting some of our wood cut out parts to be 3 dimensional parts.
We print using PLA. It is paintable and sandable too. It is important to wear a mask when sanding PLA.
You can use acrylic paint, acrylic paint markers.
Some abrasive paints may break down the material as well as some glues. So please use caution.
The glue I have used for the 3d prints is from amazon indicated it is for PLA and 3d printed items.
I have used stickfast and find that the bond is not the best.
Helpful Tips:
Sometimes our clicker items may separate in shipment, just press the parts back together gently.
There may be uneven rough edges from where the supports are, sometimes this is unavoidable.
When sanding you may get a discoloration. It is important to use a 400-600 grit sand paper. Wipe the sanded area with a cloth. You can use a sealer if you like over the finish. You can use a polyurethane clear coat if you like.
We print our 3d items with internal supports. The walls are still delicate so be gentle.
We offer our 3d prints as is. We will do our very best to represent each print AS IS. At this time we do not offer reprinting of items.
Thank you
We are excited to offer this new product offering and we hope that you enjoy the 3d printed items.
